Regular maintenance is a service offered to all clients, who are serious about protecting their business and keeping thier IT systems in good order.

Each client can choose the best maintenance frequency for their needs, in accordance with their usage and our advice. Every 3 months is for an “average” office user. Monthly is for power users, with highly dependant and complex systems. Every 6 months is designed with occasional users in mind.

Maintenance is carried out remotely, although in certain cases a site visit may be required to fully rid your systems of security issues (virii, spyware, malware, network configurations etc).

As a guide, an average PC will take 1 hour to thoroughly check and clean. “Heavy use” PC’s may take longer. In “extreme” cases, a rebuild (usually 3 hours) may be required. Clear advice will be given at the time, and with your input we’ll find the best solution.

Comprehensive systems health checks, including:

• System logs checking (to help ensure developing hardware problems are caught before they fail)
• Manual, and in-depth “security compromise” checking and resolution
• Critical operating system updates applied
• Disk cleanup and optimisation
• Other system optimisation (depending on specific usage of PC)
• Addressing any issues or concerns raised by the client

Like every service we offer, there is no minimum term and no contract. The maintenance reminder will come from us in the form of a telephone call (or an email), and the resulting work will be carried out at a time suitable to you.
