For us there is a benefit to, if the broadband supply changes, this often requires a DNS change (so the emails continue to work or remote users can still log in). If the broadband has issues, this will have a knock on to other services, it is often the symptoms that is logged with us, and the cause lies elsewhere. Having an overview of all the interconnected services means we can resolve the issue much faster, so if we can log in to the broadband and log issues direct, run line checks through the BT systems we can diagnose and fix issue with greater efficiency and the apparently unrelated email issue is resolved.
