Microsoft Exchange Attacks Mitigated Fast
You may have heard in the news - Microsoft Exchange has been under attack this year.
Apollo moved fast to prevent, prepare, and patch our Exchange estates in rapid time. Completed in less than 72 hours, in early March.
The attacks were rapidly gaining traction, following Microsoft's patch release.
Technically - we have a strong process which we are happy to share with anyone struggling to get their systems patched. There are a number of pre-requisites and planning items to consider before undertaking this work.
We remain willing and able to help others who have not managed to patch their systems yet. Don't leave it any longer, you are a sitting duck!
All of our systems had been "probed" by IP, although we found no trace of any breach.
May 22 - we are now rolling out further Exchange Cumalitive updates to all our exchange servers, these have installed without issue. The only problem we have had is an additional reboot has been required. An improvement we have noted is we seem to be getting less spam across our client networks.
